Hi! My name is Amy and I am in my third year at UVic. I am working towards my degree in psychology with a minor in education! I am passionate about working with children and exploring how social thinking, behaviour, and mental health influence their development. I am excited to keep learning and growing in these areas so that I can better understand, support, and empower the kids I work with.

I also love to travel. After high school, I took a gap year and travelled for 6 months. During that trip, I went to New Zealand, Australia, New Caledonia, Bali, Thailand, and Vietnam. I got to see and experience many different cultures and connect with so many different people. It was an incredible trip, and it really pushed me to grow as an individual before I started university.

Outside of school, I have a wide range of interests and hobbies, and I love trying new things and discovering new skills. I enjoy reading a wide range of books and spending time outdoors, hiking on local trails or going to the beach. I also spend a lot of time doing crafts and creative projects, playing guitar, and spending time with my pets.

I have a dog named Charlie and a cat named Raven. Raven enjoys lounging on the couch in the sun, and her favourite toy is a simple piece of string. Charlie is incredibly friendly and loves meeting new people. She especially enjoys trips to the beach, where she can run freely and splash around in the water.
